Don't be afraid to try natural remedies for your anxiety and panic disorder

Millions of people have anxiety attacks and panic, so it is time we talked a little bit about them in this article. It is completely normal to feel anxious as everyone does so at one time or another, but when the feeling does not go away this is known as a panic disorder. Part of having an anxiety disorder means that you are likely going to get anxiety attacks and panic that ruin your life.

This is nothing but a manifestation of an undefined fear when you get symptoms like pounding heart, dry mouth, difficulty speaking, shallow breathing, sweating, trembling, and confusion. Many times these panic attacks can last for minutes, hours and in some severe cases several days if the attack is particularly bad. For many people, these panic episodes can last for years making the lives of the sufferer miserable and hard.

A lot of folks really believe that if it's natural it's good, and this is also true for natural remedies for anxiety disorders. Take six cloves of garlic with cool water daily. Garlic has got ample serotonin that calms down the nerves and relieves anxiety because it acts like a tranquilizer. Taking velarian is also believed to reduce anxiety symptoms in a lot of people. You should be able to find velarian in your health food store in powder and tablets to ingest.

You can take this just before going to bed. The latest research shows that there may be an indication for taking magnesium along with calcium to help a panic attack get under control as well.

Make sure that your doctor is aware that you are trying these herbs and supplements out though, because they can be dangerous.

There is also some evidence that taking certain antioxidants along with certain vitamins can increase blood flow to the brain which may help in a persons mood. Similarly vitamin B5 is known as anti-stress vitamin and acts as a very good anti-depressant.

All of these things aside, a really good way to reduce the symptoms of anxiety attack, that you get yourself some good old-fashioned exercise and try some common relaxation techniques such as yoga. One more thing that you can do to help out your anxiety is to eat a healthy diet.
