A lack of self confidence is a curse. But it doesn't have to be that way. There are lots of ways that you can defeat low self-image. Some of them aren't that tricky to master.

As with any other journey, the success of your journey through life depends on clearness about your destination. If your self image is not currently supporting you it could be because you are not clear about who you are and what you want.
The most important part of improving your self confidence is to be clear that it is simply who you are. You are not travelling in the direction of a time when you will have a powerful self-confidence it is something that you already possess.
As you are reading this article it's a fair assumption that you think that you suffer from low self-esteem; but , is this always true. Are there not some occasions when your self confidence is high? And if your self confidence is high at any time then you need to capture it whilst it is in a good place and reproduce it in other environments.
This is what to do: think about some physical act that you can do without drawing attention to yourself. This could be pinching your thumb and index finger together, this will then be your anchor. Then when you next notice that your self confidence is high quickly pinch your thumb and index finger together. Do this anchoring exercise numerous times when you happen to notice that your self-esteem is good.
Once you have anchored your "good self confidence" state at least 4 times it will be ready for use. Then, the next time you are feeling that your self-image is low - use your anchor and feel your self-confidence rise.
