Fear And Dreams Come Hand In Hand

By Evan Sanders

If your dreams don't really scare you then they aren't big enough yet.

But when it comes to dreams, there's a different type of fear that shows up. The fear that will arrive at your doorstep can often be a paralyzing type of fear that will put all of its weight down on your shoulders. Why? Because dreams are incredibly dense and the fear that comes along with chasing those dreams is very dense as well.

Most people will attempt taking the journey of their dreams once or twice and give up after they fail. But when you are deeply committed to your dreams, you have to try time and time again because you almost certainly will not nail it on the first time. Big dreams will test your personality, your resolve, and your willingness to see something through even if you cannot see it right now.

When that heavy fear comes in, what can we do?

Do we actually have to do anything?

If you feel that fear and allow it some room to roam around inside your mind and your body for a while, you can actually work with the fear instead of constantly pushing it away. You can learn from it instead of running away from it.

Feel your fears and they will teach you everything you need to know about what's actually going inside of you. They will teach you why you suffer and what it is that you need to work on. But most importantly, when you decide to feel your fears you develop deep relationships with them of understanding instead of avoidance. When you come to this place, you could build strong foundations in your life instead of always being on the run.

Don't constantly avoid what you know you should be facing. Instead, dive deep into it. Dive so far into it you could find out everything you ever wanted to know about it. This builds strength in your character and a willingness to face your fears. That is absolutely invaluable.

Don't run from your fears. Run straight into them.
