Without Our Integrity We Stop Living

By Evan Sanders

When nobody is looking, who are you?

Are you the same person that you present yourself to be when you are with others?

Without integrity we lose our ability to truly learn and take advantage of all that life has to offer us. Our relationships suffer, our body suffers, we don't perform as well in the work environment and most of all we can't trust ourselves. Keeping to our integrity and being the same person as we always are is one of the most important building blocks of life.

Without our integrity, we can't trust ourselves at all which is a massive tragedy. Without being able to trust in ourselves how can we truly grow and develop into the person we want to be? We can't.

How can you be different?

Do exactly what you said you are going to do. Without the ability to do that you really can't feel like you are moving forward in your life. Every single time you break your integrity you end up undermining your momentum and stopping yourself from achieving your goals. That's why integrity is so incredibly important.

Sometimes however we are going to break our integrity. What do you do in that situation?

Admit your mistakes. Admit your mistakes quickly and emphatically. It's amazing how much others will forgive you when you understand your wrongdoings and try to make amends. People respect you more and they trust you more because they know that it happens to everyone.

It is a million times easier to be open and honest about your mistakes than to try to cover them up completely.

So build some integrity into your life. Build it into your life because without it you are hardly living at all. Because you decided to be a man or woman of integrity, everything will thrive and you will be able to move forward towards your dreams.

Because truly, without our integrity, we are nothing.
