One of the well known and most convenient methods of carrying cash or paying cash is via debit cards. Debit cards are a safe and efficient way to roam around and use you money as they require a special PIN number which is only known by the owner of the card. This helps as you do not have to walk around with a bag or wallet filled with money and you will not be spotted either.

Differences Between Credit Cards And Debit Cards A debit card holds a debit balance, i.e. your own money. A credit card holds a credit balance i.e. bank owned money. With debit cards, you are allowed to make purchases or withdraw cash using your own money.

Debit cards allow you to make purchases of goods and services or the ability to withdraw cash, but with your own money. Credit cards give you the ability to make purchases by borrowing money from the bank. If you look at this through a bank's perspective, debit cards are used to withdraw cash from an account, likewise, credit cards increase a bank's liability as the user is using the money borrowed from the bank.

A co-branded card is often owned by business owners and their staff members. In this, a company merges with brands such as MasterCard or VISA; the cards have two or more logos upon them, one being of the company, the other of the brands. These cards allow you to gain access to your bank accounts irrespective of time and day, and can be used where VISA and MasterCard are accepted.

Debit card is a safe way to carry your money as it is a very useful tool and is convenient as well. However, for business owners co-branded prepaid cards can pay off.
